SHABBAT MORNING GROUPS: Thank you to Esti Munk for leading the Shabbat groups this week. The groups will meet from 10:30 to 11:30 am.

IMPORTANT - SAVE THE DATE: The 3rd Annual St Louis Jewish Community Blood Drive, together with a new Jewish Food Pantry Drive, will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2010, 10 am – 4 pm at Young Israel.

TRIBUTE CARDS: Giving Tzedakah is the perfect way to commemorate a simcha or remember a loved one. Tribute cards are for just this purpose. Cards can be sent through the Shul office, or through Women’s Division. The Shul’s cards have recently received a “face lift”, and are on display in the lobby. They can be sent by contacting Judy in the office. To send through the Women’s Division, please contact Matilda Zeffren at 862-3809.

ENVIRONMENT AWARENESS: The JCRC is planning two events to raise awareness on environmental issues. They are: 1) Sunday, October 18th-Visit R Farm, 25873 State Highway 3, Dow, Il, 1:30-3:30 pm.
