GUEST SPEAKER: Rabbi Chaim Eisen will speak on ‘Chanukah's message: Kindling the light of creativity,’ Wednesday, December 17th, at 7 pm at the Shul. Rabbi Eisen has been lecturing on various aspects of Jewish philosophy/hashkafah in Israel for over 20 years. He is a long-time and current lecturer at the O-U Center in Jerusalem. MEDICAL ETHICS : The St. Louis Society for Jewish Medical Ethics presents the Dr. J Lester Zeffren Chair ‘Winter Symposium’ featuring Dr. Avraham Steinberg, Thursday December 18th.  ‘Lunch and Learn’ will be at 12 noon in the social hall. Siyyum: In the 'zichut' of completing the fourth perek of Pirkei Avot, there will be a Siyyum celebration for parents and children who learn each week at Mishnat Pinchas, downstairs after Musaf, this Shabbat.. The celebration continues with an "Icy Siyyum" at 'the Mills', 7:15 PM, Motzaei Shabbat, Dec 6th: Ice cream @ 'Hagen Daz'; 8:00 pm.Ice Skating @ IceZone ($5/person).  Open to all families with children ages K-8th grade.
